Next to Hemingway explained

Like any author I want to find an audience for my work.

There are lots of ways to do this and the most obvious, of course, is to find a publisher.

I did have a publisher for my previous book, an Oasis biography, but that was written over ten years ago and, if my memory serves me correctly, they fucked me on the deal.

I don't know anybody in the publishing industry, and I don't have the stomach for cold calls.

So instead I've asked my friends to help me find an audience for the book by putting it in bookshops.

It's a curious approach, I'll give you that, but it shows confidence, I think, which is always a better look than desperation.

If you have stumbled across this blog and you'd like a copy of Queer Fish in God's Waiting Room to put next to Hemingway, then please email me. I'll keep sending them out until the 100 I have are gone.
